Description

M2 aka NGC7089, is a globular cluster about 36,000 ly from us. With an apparent magnitude of 6.6, it is only visible to the best eyes under ideal conditions, but is readily visible with a small binocular, appearing as a round blur. M2 is one of the oldest GC of the galaxy, with around 150,000 stars, it is also one of the largest GC in our galaxy. The dataset was acquired by @blackrig , a magnificent set with just less than 3 hours of exposure, the resolution is of top levels with a 10" refractory.
