Description

I setup the Redcat 51 to photograph SH2-240 as it's a very large nebula which doesn't fit in the FLT91's fov.  Unfortunately the moon was too bright, so I had to pivot to another target.  I decided to photograph a random area of space and settled on the region around the star Zeta Persei (including IC348).

Zeta Persei is a star in the northern constellation of Perseus with an apparent visual magnitude of 2.9, it can be readily seen with the naked eye. Parallax measurements place it at a distance of about 750 light-years from Earth.

Thanks for looking and clear skies.
