Description

March 31 and April 1 were the first clear enough nights in 2024 for me to take the cover off the observatory and relearn how to use the Rasa C11.

It took a good while to reconnect everything and get my mind around the apps and settings.  Overall, it was mostly successful.  Experimentation and target location shortened the session.  But I guess that is why I got the Rasa.  I may be able to add some data before the calendar precludes the target.

I finally stacked 99 of 155 sixty second subframes.  I had gathererd other 30 and 90 second subs.  The 90 second subs were to bright.  The thirty seconds subs were not framed the same and there were only 30 0f them. So i chose to ignore those.  Like I said, experimentation and still being early in the Rasa learning curve used a lot of time.

But I happily learned I could park the scope nicely using Nina.  This rig is the only one of 4 that I have which uses Nina.  Learning, learning, learning, or should I say trying trying trying to learn.  ;>)
