Description

Pure EAA capture using SharpCap saved as seen.  While the FoV is a little tight, I think this captures the most interesting bits of this emission nebula in Auriga.

For me, the fascination with this target involves the "V" shaped structures on the northern edge (toward the top of the capture) - almost like a flock of birds.  Why are they so symmetrical and why do these similar shaped regions all appear in the same general area?  The physical connection to AE Auriga seems obvious here too given how the nebula appears brightest all around the star.

For comparison, I've attached a capture of the entire region that I made with my Askar FMA180 + ASI294MM-Pro + Optolong 7nm H-alpha (70 minutes total).
