I became interested in astronomy in general during the 1980s. Received my first telescope in the 1990s and once I saw the rings of Saturn and the Gallilean moons of Jupiter, I was hooked! Began dabbling in astrophotography in the early 2000s, using an old camera to photograph star trails.
Bought a Celestron NexStar 8SE in 2013 and was amazed once I connected a Canon EOS SLR camera to it, but put my gear into storage after having to move in early 2014. Only started getting back into the hobby in 2023.
