Description

The ghostly clouds of galactic cirrus, or integrated flux nebulae, are perhaps some of the most weird-looking objects in our galaxy.  And Sh2-63 is perhaps one of the weirdest.  Only a few degrees away from Barnard's galaxy and in a "rainstorm" of IFN, this denser patch resembles a giant "Capital P" written in some macabre Gothic font.

I have imaged this objects at both 200mm and 600mm focal length, and I wanted to see how it would look at 1600mm.  At this focal length the framing is not great, as IFN almost overfills the field-of-view.   Nevertheless it is good to get a close-up of these faint structures, even if there is not really the detail to merit this focal length.
