Description

December 16 was the first clear night in weeks.  This image is from that night.  No clear nights have been had since, as of Christmas.  I went south and east of town to the mountains to avoid the valley fog, and happily, it was a success.  Although the transparency and seeing were variable, the guiding for the CEM26 settled to about .5 RMS, which is great for this rig.  I would love to add more time to this project, but around here that may not happen for weeks, and coordinating a clear night with the new moon is quite difficult, as you know!!
