Description

This was on my short list for a long time, and was one of the first targets I started collecting data on when I got this telescope up and running. I've seen many renditions before, and wanted to make sure I take the time to reveal the whole OIII shell. I've kept it a little faint here, as it's still a little noisy, but it is quite visile close up.

I shot over 50 hours a little at a time over most clear nights in September and actually discarded more hours of data for this target than I used for some earlier projects. I've presented it here in a roughly HOO palette (Ha -> 4°, OIII -> 197°), with RGB stars calibrated in Siril. No starnet++, just photoshop content aware fill to go starless and camera raw adjustments per channel and after flattening.
