Description

LBN534 is a dusty "bright" nebula in Andromeda, and the bright reflection area near the "nose" is vDB 158. This is part of a run of imaging mostly dark and dusty targets, which I think suit my fairly dark skies, RASA and OSC. This nebula doesn't seem to be imaged very much, but it's quite a nice one. Perhaps a bottle opener?

Can't get much colour into my stars -  I guess they are a bit over-exposed (F/2.2 and 11 inch aperture make it difficult to avoid this). I should have shot some much shorter exposures for the stars, perhaps, although I've not had much success trying that method with a couple of other attempts (using 5 second exposures). Keep on experimenting I guess.
