Description

This is a two image mosaic of a beautiful area in the constellations of Cassiopeia the Queen and Cepheus the King filled with beautiful star clusters and Hydrogen Alpha nebulae In this image. At upper right is the Lobster Claw Nebula. Below it is the Bubble Nebula. Below the Bubble Nebula is the bright star cluster, M52.
The bright red spot to the left of The Bubble Nebula is NGC 7538. The bright nebula in the middle left of the image is the Cave Nebula. The fainter nebula at top left is Sh2-154, while the cluster immediately to the right above it is NGC 7419.
This was imaged from MARIETH Observatory  August 20-24, 2006.
