Description

NGC 1491  "the Fossil Footprint" or LBN 704, or Sh2-206 is a fairly bright nebula, 9800ly from us,  discovered by William Herschel in 1790. 

9 Hours of narrowband, and just about 45 minutes of RGB, 

of this an RGB and a SHO image were generated , and combined these with an (AFAIK) atypical technique...
