Description

This view of the central Cygnus region shows the abundance of Hydrogen and the famous and often imaged objects NGC6888 (Cresent Nebula), SH2-101 (Tulip-Nebula) and WR-134. In addition the Bubble Nebula, M29 and Sh2-104 are visible and some more OIII structures which do not appear in the common catalogs.

A proper separation of H-alpha and OIII from the dual-narrowband data plus RGB-like colors for the narrowband channels resulted in a rather complex process in Pixinsight involving some experiments with PixelMath and using the newest tools available (e.g. new version of BlurXTerminator, ScreenStars script by Bill Blanshan), but I think it was worth the effort. I can also recommend the YouTube videos by DeepSkyGeek!

Hope you enjoy it!
