Description

While down in Florida last week, I aimed my telescope at a bright nebula located in a region of sky not far from the Beetlejuice in Orion. The Rosette nebula is illuminated by its central star cluster, which was created by it's own material. This cluster caused the remaining material to expand and caused the Hydrogen atoms to glow red.
This nebula has also been known as the Skull Nebula depending on the orientation (tilt your head to the left)
