Description

Still working through getting things dialed in on my NYX-101 mount.  I've been using NINA to control my shoots and for the most part I have no complaints.  It appeared to mess up a number of things last week when I was attempting to shoot a mosaic.  That prompted me to take a look at possibly using SGP or Voyager.  I have owned SGP for a while and have a trial of Voyager.  I did do some brushing up so I was not operating them "cold" but they both fail the "First pass for me intuitive" test.  Many of the things I tend to take for granted with NINA are either much more difficult in SGP or Voyager or don't exist at all.  I'll give them both another few chances as they both have a few features I find interesting.

Anyway, when that all went bust I had enough time to go back into NINA and set up a quick sequence on a fan favorite, The Double Cluster in Perseus.  This worked quite well.  No issues with meridian flips or guiding.  Guiding was in the range of 0.6"-0.7" total error across 7+ hours of shooting.  I'm pleased with that.  Getting PA to work is getting simpler.  I've had a Polemaster for a while but was not using it too much.  With the NYX setup, they have an attachment port for a Polemaster and with SharpCap I got a rock solid PA in a short amount of time.

Clusters are not too difficult to process but still look nice I think.
