Description

SH2-87 (the small clouds in the upper right part of the frame) is an emission nebula at a distance of approx. 6500 light years. SH2-88 is the larger cloud in the left bottom at a similar distance. The clouds that lie in-between are unnamed, as far as I could find out. The dark nebula have all been catalogued by Lynd.
