Some objects never get old. This beautiful nebula has been attempted by so many people so many times, but there is a reason for that. It rewards the novice and experienced imager alike. This attempt was from by Bortle 6 backyard, adding luminance and color data to my previous attempt to better bring out the dark structures around the bright nebula. In the process, I was able to also improve my treatment of the core. This adds 130 minutes of luminance and 45 minutes of red and blue to my data from last year. Data from last year was:
Chroma Blue 31mm: 15x180" (gain: 75.00) -20C bin 1x1
Chroma Green 31mm: 20x180" (gain: 75.00) -20C bin 1x1
Chroma Lo-Glow LP filter: 30x120" (gain: 75.00) bin 1x1
Chroma Red 31mm: 12x180" (gain: 75.00) -20C bin 1x1
In addition, I used 15 x 12 second frames in each of LRGB to resolve the core.
Overall exposure is about 7.5 hours, all from my backyard.
