Description

My latest image shot at my dark sky site at the Danville Conservation area near New Florence Mo, about 1hr from my house. The image is comprised of 371 25sec images for a total integration of 2hrs 34mins and 30secs. M20 the Trifid Nebula is in the constellation of Sagittarius the archer. Summer time just doesn't afford a very long time to image given the extremely short nights. Truly only about 5.5hrs of total darkness.
Equipment used;
12" Meade LX200 SCT
Canon 60D camera
Lumicon f6.3 reducer
Software used:
Siril for stacking the images
Pixinsight for the initial processing
Photoshop for the finish processing.
