Description

After capturing the California Nebula on the previous night, I was lucky enough to get a second clear night so I though I'd try and capture The Pleiades seeing as they're coming up in the sky at a decent time now.

As they're brighter than most other targets, I reduced the ISO and exposure times on these subs. Oddly, there's a problem with either my DSS settings or my flats as there were four large dust-specks that made their way into the final stacked image, after some initial stretching and star subtraction, I removed them in processing and thankfully I don't think they're visible in the final image.

Lights: 95 x 180s (ISO 800)
Darks: 30
Flats: 30
Dark-Flats: 30
Bias: 70

Bortle Zone: 6
