Description

The Deerlick Galaxy, designation NGC7331, along with the four galaxies above in the same frame. It resides in the constellation Pegasus, 40 million light-years from earth. The four other galaxies actually are little more distant at 300-350 million light-years away. This was imaged at my Observatory, MARIETH, in Central Oregon on 07/16/2004.
Imaged with RCOS 12.5 inch telescope aboard an Astro-Physics 1200QMD mount and SBIF ST-10 CCD camera.
