Description

Rare event in England, a clear night without the Moon!!
Inspired by some fellow members here, I imaged this spiral galaxy in LRGB.
The nice galaxy is about 30 millions light years away in the constellation Andromeda. It is know as the Outer Limits galaxy because of a TV series in the 60s.
It is said to be very much like our galaxy both in luminosity and size.
Post-processing was done in Photoshop, using Denoise AI at the end of the process.
I tweaked the configuration of the guiding data on the ASIAIR pro and was very happy with the result (below 0.5 arc sec) but the guiding was much poorer after the meridian flip. Not sure what happened there. I had to remove more than half the luminance images as a result...
