Description

As Winter draws to a close, the skies over the Swiss Alps seem to freeze in time aswinter still goes on in the snowy mountains. Under dark skies, this astro-modified Canon 450D was able to pick up patches of faint Hydrogen-Alpha regions in the sky.

Aldebaran is the orangish star to the bottom left while the Flaming Star Nebula is near the top right in this frame.

What a sight to behold!
