Repro of this data utilizing the 'Correct Only' function of BXT AI4 - this update really has helped eliminate the horrible coma-like star aberrations happening at the edges of my images.
Tried in vain for over a year to dial these nightmarish stars out of EVERY image - ruled out collimation problems, sensor tilt and finally settled on the focuser as potential culprit (stars become round at zenith then coma-like at lower altitudes).
Was toying with the idea an expensive focuser replacement when BXT'2' dropped on 14.12.23 - and after brief usage it's probably the only time in this hobby that I've actually agreed with the "gamechanger" hype.
Obviously, great data out of the scope is what we all should aim for, but that can be a very costly pursuit at times - RC and BXT have made this amateur astrophotographer very happy!
