Description

I have been hearing a lot about Astro Cooker lately on Cloudy Nights Forums and decided to give it a try.In this example I took 20 minutes of stacking from the Flaming Star/Christmas Tree area.I uploaded to Astro Cooker web site a 20-minute stack from ZWO’s SeeStar S50.When Astro Cooker was finished (about 5 Minutes) it allowed me to download several different file formats. (JPEG, FITS, TIFF)The result of the download is what you see here.Astro Cooker will tell you that it is not meant to be the final processed photo but as a pre-processer that can be further enhanced via Siril or any post processing photo software one uses.It is very much new, and the author is still tweaking it.I will continue to use it and see how it performs with various targets and Bortle Zones.
