A 57 hour high resolution integration, wide field view of the famous Heart and Soul Nebulas including IC 1795 Fish Head Nebula. There are also a myriad of other bright and dark nebulas and Galaxies included, too many to document, but the plate soling overlay shows them all!
Originally imaged in November 2022 over multiple nights for a Hubble palette image with the addition of RGB data for the stars.

https://astrob.in/full/km8chu/0/After initial processing the stars were not acceptable in the corners due to the combination of the William Optics Field Flattener and the full frame sensor of the ASI 6200MM imaging camera.
Eventually in March 2023, the stars were retaken using a 4 panel mosaic and the smaller APC sensor of the ASI 2600MC imaging camera . The stars on the smaller frame were much better shaped and provided a full coverage of the original full frame.
This image also uses the colour mapping techniques shown in a recent YouTube video by Steven Millar's Entering Into Space channel. This technique provides an interesting method to assign any colour to the Red, Green and Blue channels by switching the monochrome channels into the RGB colour space in PixInsight.
