Description

In the small constellation of Sagitta - The Arrow, the globular cluster (henceforth GC) M71 can be found. It is one of the smaller globulars and it's position behind one of the dense star fields of the Milky Way makes it difficult to discern from the foreground stars. It is a small loosely bound GC and was originally thought to be an open cluster, but analyses of the stars have shown them to be characteristic of the star populations of GC's.

About the acquisition: My flats were no good, so I made an artificial flat with StarXterminator and added some sky background in post processing.
