Description

Here's another image for my family album of Wolf-Rayet nebulae. WR30 (aka HD 94305) is a Wolf-Rayet star in Carina that's surrounded by shells of ejected material. The structure around WR30 is much fainter than around other more frequently images Wolf-Rayet nebulae such as the Crescent and Dolphin Head. A long integration and aggressive star reduction was required to reveal the structures surrounding the star — this image is the result of 37.5 hours of integration, split evenly between Ha and OIII.
