Description

Here is another Seestar image from last night.  This is NGC7380 or the Wizard Nebula.  I'm finding I get dramatically better images when I reprocess the subs myself.  I've also found out that the Seestar, on images where you actually image over about 30 mins, the Seestar generated final image both .jpg and .fit can have a bright diagonal band across the image.  If you have noticed this in your images it is due to grossly misaligned subs that the Seestar used to generate its final image.  The basic reason for this is the Seestar does NOT derotate your images.  It just stacks what is there.  In the future I won't make any session longer than 15'.  If I want more subs then I will do multiple 15' sessions.  If you reprocess the subs yourself these should go away.

Here is the Seestar image from my iPhone. You can see the bright band going across the image.  This is not present in my final reprocessed image.
