Description

Dear astronomers,

This is the "second light" of our new Lacerta carbon newton.

M1 was one of the first objects my kids selected, but - to be honest with you - it was too hard for me at that time and I've never able to create a meaningful picture out of the data we had gathered.

So, with a better scope and some more experience, it was time to try it again.

The kids are happy with the outcome and - despite knowing that what they see is the reminder of a supernova from the year 1054 - they refuse to call it somehing else than the "space brain".

Maybe I should have rotated the image differently ;-)

Hope you enjoy the image and CS
Timo
