Description

NGC 7380 is located in the constellation Cepheus about 7,000 light-years from Earth within the Milky Way Galaxy. The star cluster is embedded in a nebula, which spans some 110 light-years. The stars of NGC 7380 have emerged from this star-forming region in the last 5 million years or so, making it a relatively young cluster.

The radiation and stellar winds of the cluster’s young stars are responsible for creating the nebula’s shape.

This was an exciting target to image. It was not that bright so it needed multiple nights of imaging. Also, looks like I made the Wizard didn't like being imaged so he casted lots of spells on my mount resulting in un-explained star trailing making me loose around 45-60 mins of imaging per session. I tried to trouble shoot the first two nights but I gave up in the third I imaged another target the night after and everything went good !!!!
