Description

Another attempt to shoot the North America (NGC7000) and the Pelican nebulas (IC5070) in the well known Cygus constellation, this time using the market new Optolong L-Extreme F/2 and the Samyang 135mm F/2 ED with an OSC camera.
Despite the filter itself have some halos like his predecessor, they are quite manageable in the final image and a curious fact is that he presents more halos in stars with magnitude between 3 and 5. Beside that, it deals super easy with light pollution as well the moon glow, and the sample that I have is spot on regarding the bandpass in the Ha and the OIII lines, which is the most importante thing of all. A must have filter for people who deals with fast systems.

RGB (CFA + Optolong L-Extreme F/2) 180s x 96 F/2 - Gain 100 - Bin 1x1 - Offset 70 - Focal Lengh 135mm

50 Dark Frames + 50 BIAS Frames + 50 Flat Frames

The Moon was in waning gibbous at 71.6% of ilumination, in a Bortle scale of 4 (21.63 Mag/Arc.Sec)
