Description

For my first experiment with a remote observatory I went for a subject which usually is too low in the sky from my latitude.

Switched a bit the framing in the various days and tried to tame the dynamic range with different length exposures.

My current workflow for narrowband is:

Preprocessing with APP (PI is too slow on my M1max macbook pro for preprocessing but works fine for everything else).
Crop and DBE with 4 points.
Linear noise reduction with NoiseXterminator.
EZSoftstretch + some tweaks with GHS

Synthetic luminance combining Ha and Oiii with Pixelmath
Extract stars from L with StarXterminator in unblend mode
Some light LHT at medium/large scales
A bit more denoise with NoiseXterminator
MMT for a bit of sharpening

Combine starless Ha+Oiii in HOO with Pixelmath
A bit more denoise with NoiseXterminator

Apply processed L to RGB with LRGB tool
Saturation/Color tweaks with curves if needed

Export starless LRGB image and Stars to Photoshop for color/contrast adjustment

Resize if needed to fit size constraints

any advice is welcome!
