Description

On 19 April I was surprised to note that Cygnus was already rising in the early morning so I took the opportunity to set up my fourth rig - the travel mount SkyGuider Pro with Samyang 135mm lens and an ASI2600MC.  I shot at f/2 even though I was using the normal ALP-T filter, not the fast version, just to see how it came out.  It seems fine to me though there must be some loss - maybe more like an effective f/3 or something - I should test at f/2.8 next time and compare.
Pleasantly surprised that 120 sec subs still had round enough stars at this forgiving focal length and managed to capture just over two hours of data before dawn approached and .

I'd really like to do a mosaic of the entire Cygnus area, but definitely with one of my Goto mounts, not the SkyGuider Pro.  It was, however, good fun to use it again, my first mount, and manually adjust to find the target.
