Description

SH2-101 the Tulip Nebula in Cygnus. Inspired by some great images from other AB members - it's something that doesn't get the attention it deserves. Using the 12" SC, and shot over a couple nights and processed SHO. I like trying nebula with the 12SC. Maybe not as sharp as shorter FL, but it's fun to go in close if nature cooperates.

Tried an experimental processing technique. Since the SII and OIII data was very noisy, I used Topaz DeNoise on the channels BEFORE combining as stretched data SHO in PI. Not sure if it made any difference since I didn't try it the old may to compare.

I did remove the stars with StarNet2 and add a little less stretched versions back in.
