Description

Shot M45 on the same evening as M81.  This came out much nicer than what I've shot in Phoenix.  The very dark, clear, bortle 1 skies of Overgaard do not disappoint.  I was able to get a lot more detail on the faint nebulosity of this object.  I don't like to re-color an image but for some strange reason my initial pass through PixInsight gave me a magenta Pleiades.  We all know that is not right.  With Photoshop I was able to remap the magenta to the blue we are all use to seeing. Last time I photographed M45 with my Seestar in Phoenix I did not catch any of the faint nebula around the stars.  This time up in Overgaard I did.  Guess another vote for bortle 1 skies vs bortle 6 right?

Loving my Seestar.  For what it does it's a good value.  I see it helping me pick targets for my other scopes as well as just a very nice portable capture system all in itself.  A nice value for what it costs IMHO.

Enjoy!
