Description

Heart Nebula
IC 1805, NGC 896 or Sh2-190 is usually referred to as Heart Nebula, due to its shape. The nebula is about 7'500 light years away from earth and about 330 light years in diameter. The intense red glow of the nebula are caused by radiation emanating from a small group of stars near the centre of the nebula. This open star cluster is known as Collinder 26 or Melotte 15.

Soul Nebula
IC 1848 or the Heart Nebula is about 7'500 light years away from earth.
