Statistically, we got the cloudy shaft in July here in the Tacoma, but on those clear nights I did get out and, like Portland, no dew and reasonable seeing! So far August has been exceptional!

Yes, agree on both points! I have been concentrating on collecting data and leaving the processing task to those months that will keep me and my scope inside! Can't wait for the next week or so of moonless (or rather less-moon) nights.

It's been pretty nice down here in Southern Oregon too. We've had a little high-level smoke from California fires, but otherwise the skies have been great.
