Has anyone who owns the William Optics WIFD experienced internal moisture problems? A disclaimer on their Pleiades series caused me concern before purchase. Looking for input from GT81 WIFD or Redcat WIFD owners. |

I have the GT81 WFID and live in the Pacific Northwest, where moisture can be a real problem, I’ve never experienced moisture inside the scope. The only moisture issues I’ve ran into were user error (i.e., forgetting to turn on the dew heater or using a lens wipe and not letting it dry before taking the rig outside). |

I’ve not had a problem with the 81 but did get moisture in another air spaced scope. I finally got it dried out by facing a small space heater by it and running it off and on for several days. |

I have a GT81 WIFD that I've imaged with for about 75 hours (over a couple of months). The scope was kept outdoors under a 365 cover and no moisture problems occurred. |

Hi David, Like most of the responses above, I too have not experienced any moisture issues with my WO GT 81mm WIFD. Regards, Jaime |
