I don't shoot darks. Don't need them, haven't needed them and no one's been able to convince me yet.

Recently I've started draping a Weber grill cover over my entire rig and lightly cinching it at the bottom with hockey tape. No light leaks at all. And the camera cools down just fine. Yes there are dedicated telescope covers and one day I might invest in one but this method works fine for me for now.

I set the camera up in a closet with the cap on in the bag that came with the camera but I allow the fan to protrube from the bag to facilitate cooling. I put the ASIAIR and battery pack in the closet with the camera. I set the sensor temperature at the desired value.
