Description

I have taken the starless narrowband data from my California Nebula Shot

California rainbow

Admittedly it is not as stunning as @Terry Hancock 's 2021 APOY winner, but I like it

So i processed the starless data (Separated by the latest version of StarXterminator) using Oiii-.R Sii-.G and Ha->B and increased contrast a little more than normal
In photoshop I took the image, created a copy of it , rotated the copy by 180 degrees, applying a 180degree hue shift ( so Oiii->Cyan, Sii->magenta, Ha->Yellow)
I then combined the layers by blending them by using the lightning blending mode.

The rotation of the second image simulates a wild meridian flip augmented by a kaleidoscopic change in colour
