Description

I am starting to get the hang of PixInsight processing for narrowband imaging and this is the first session's result of the Pacman Nebula that I'm satisfied with.
The jump from monochrome imaging with narrowband (Ha, OIII, SII) was a quite steep of a learning curve, but totally worth it. It forced me to learn and go through countless PixInsight tutorials.
I know it still isn't perfect, but I am so glad it turned out to be so good, as it is a considerable crop of the original resolution image on bin1 (8288*5644) of ASI294mm Pro.

For some reason I noticed amp glow problems in Ha, even though I took a fresh set of calibration frames (dark-flats, darks, flats). I originally had a gain of 101 and changed it to 200 for this target, and there it was, the amp glow was evident. So I expected calibration frames at same gain would neutralize it, but it didn't. It actually applied a dark version of the amp glow (light streaks replaced by dark streaks), most evident on Hydrogen alpha frames. If anyone is using the ASI294mm Pro and have came across this issue, any help greatly appreciated!
