Description

Those nights where I can't let the setup run until the next morning which thus require disassembly dramatically increased.
Removing OTAs and counter-weights before I can carry the mount under the roofed terrace is getting on my nerves.

That's why I decided to downsize my astro rig and get a good and small refractor as well as a harmonic mount that I can keep assembled and carry in and out without any disassembly.
The OTA arrived quickly, the mount is still pending. So I used it for its first light on the EQ6-R.

The OTA is well thought out, I especially like the rotator. This aspect has always left a bad taste when dealing with my Esprits.
The quintuple design and the rich backfocus reserve should future-proof it for an automatic rotator unit.
