3.5 hr time lapse of the large active region AR2993-4 on the sun from Sunday 24th imaged from Batavia Ohio during intermittent clouds. This is the Chromosphere imaged using inverse HAlpha. The light spots you see are actually sunspots. Inverse imaging allows the human eye to see the surface feature details better.
