Description

I managed quite a nice image of M78 last year, but decided it would be good to have another go incorporating LDN1622, VdB 63 etc on the other side of Barnard's Loop.

I like the result, but it could perhaps have been better. The framing isn't quite how I'd like it, and this wasn't helped by the need to crop out some difficult gradients. I seem to be having difficulty getting rid of the results of my fairly severe vignetting. This is caused by a  2" filter holder, and as I have darkish skies and shoot so much broadband, I'm thinking of getting rid of the filter slider altogether.

Edit: perhaps I'm being a bit fussy about the framing...
