Description

The Hercules Galaxy Cluster is a cluster of more than 200 galaxies 500 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Hercules. It is rich in spiral galaxies and shows many interacting galaxies. The cluster is part of the larger Hercules Supercluster, which is itself part of the much larger Great Wall super-structure. Using the 16" Dreamscope it is possible to see over 200 galaxies in this image, with a number of interacting ones. There was really no color detail so I only used RGB data for the stars.
