Description

Hi folks:

Here I present an image of Abell 400, a galaxy cluster in the constellation Cetus. This image was taken over the course of 22 nights with a total of almost 61 hrs. of exposure. The image is minimally processed in order to preserve as much detail as possible. Minor crop to clean up the edges and small reflections which I think are coming from OAG. A couple of reflections leaked into the larger image but they are managed quite ok, I need to work on a solution long term.

Regarding the image itself: there are hundreds of galaxies inside and outside the cluster, the top right corner is full of galaxies! There is really interesting galaxy at the bottom center, so weird which I know I will need to reshoot with a larger scope later in life. This is the type of image that makes me forget about our day to day problems and offers a sea of tranquility, the universe is vast and beautiful. Let's all take it easy

As always enjoy in full res. Enjoy
