Description

A few days ago, I found my C9 lying on the ground, stuck between the window and the table it was sitting on. My cat had a fight during the night and they managed to make it fall. I was horrified at the vision of the scope on the ground at wake-up. I thought it was the end for it, but as I moved closer I realized that the Schmidt was intact and there was apparently zero damage, but decided to take it for a test on an "easy" target. I also had a bag on the floor which amortized the impact, so it could explain some of the miracle.

When I went for the test, I realized that there was actually one issue: the electric focuser didn't work. The engine did, but the support plate was disformed, so the belt couldn't do its job anymore. I decided to go with manual focus on this image and fix that later. I managed to fix it yesterday, so apparently, it's back for business !
