Description

Mostly a scientific interest, Hickson Compact Galaxy Group 44 is 4 interacting galaxies about 60 million to 100 million light years away (NASA/ESA says 100 million, others say 60, and some say 80 million). In the middle is an edge on galaxy that is kind of similar to the Hamburger Galaxy. Below it, is an elliptical galaxy. Just to the upper right of the mini "hamburger" is an interesting looking galaxy whose arms are bent. To the upper left of the mini hamburger is a more typical spiral galaxy. James Webb and Hubble would show that there are many other galaxies in this field of view and much better image scale than I can get with my C11 HyperStar  system.
