Description

This is my first try with the Optolong SHO 3nm filters which I purchased recently. Due to weather conditions I could only collect very little data and image processing became a challenge. While the Halpha and SII filter performed good, Alnitak produced a bright halo and some nasty reflections in OIII.

Luckily I was able to attenuate them in PI with the help of DBE and a GAME mask. Nevertheless I might avoid bright stars with these filters in future.
Marginalia: I could verify that the Baader RGB CCD filter are parfocal to the Optolong RGB filter (which I expected from the specs - both are 2mm thick).
