Description

This is an image of the Siamese Twins, the interacting galaxies NGC 4567 and 4568 in the constellation Virgo. It was taken the night of May 9, 2024 from my backyard in the New Mexico Astronomy Village near Deming, New Mexico. It was taken through a Stellarvue SVX180T refractor telescope with a ZWO ASI6200MM camera. It consists of 14 each red and green exposures of 5-minutes each and 13 blue exposures of 5-minutes each. It has been cropped to highlight the galaxies.
