Description

Sadr, Sadir o Sador, del árabe "pecho" es la segunda estrella más brillante de la constelación del Cisne. La constelación se localiza en pleno brazo de Orión de la Vía Láctea, una zona con extensas nubes de Hidrógeno alfa. En la imagen Sadr aparece cerca del borde izquierdo. La imagen se obtuvo en un cielo Bortle 8, con filtro L-Extreme de Optolong. Las estrellas se suprimieron con Starnet2 de Pixinsight, para poner de manifiesto las extensas nubes de hidrógeno surcadas por nubes de polvo.

Sadr, Sadir or Sador, from the Arabic "chest" is the second brightest star in the Cygnus. This constellation is located in the middle of the Orion arm of the Milky Way, an area with extensive Hydrogen alpha clouds. In the image Sadr appears near the left edge. The image was obtained in a Bortle 8 sky, with Optolong's L-Extreme filter. The stars were suppressed with Pixinsight's Starnet2, to highlight the extensive hydrogen clouds that are furrowed by dust clouds.
